MattHi,
Seal number 6 below (37650-44580) is leaking on my L245DT and the dealer says that the part is discontinued.
I have the brass bushing that are discontinued too, but these ones I can have them made.
Is there anywhere else that I can look to find this part?
Regards,

Hi! New member from Finland here.I would not think number six is your problem. I would say number 19 in my picture is your issue. Pinion seal. Part number 09500-35528.
Kubotabooks.com has all the manuals.Hi! New member from Finland here.
I think my L245DT has developed a leak from that seal nr 19. Is it easy to change?
This is my first tractor so I'm just starting to learn.
Where can I get detailed workshop manual?
Thanks!![]()
If I remember correctly the seals inner surface is larger than the nut so you should be able to remove it without removing the nut.Do I need to remove the nut nr 13 to get the seal out?

How do parts 19, 6 etc come off?If I remember correctly the seals inner surface is larger than the nut so you should be able to remove it without removing the nut.
See if the seal race (smooth part that it rides on #11) is larger than the nut.

I have a front lifter attached under the tractor and front pto shaft. I have to work outside under the tractor so i was hoping i could change the seal without dropping the front axle. Is there any chance without dropping the axle?Your better off leaving them in the Front axle bracket and dropping the axle to get to the seal on the pinion:
You can see all those parts in this ebay listing.
This is what you remove to pull the axle (yellow):
All the parts in the back (orange) will stay in the bracket, above and below.

(yellow) is where the front plate above attaches.
(orange) hidden under the bottom back is where all the orange parts above.

The part number gives the seal size. Any auto parts store can match it. Ie 35 is I’d. 52 is outer diameter 8 is thickness all metric measurements. Almost all part numbers that start with a 0 are standard parts.I would not think number six is your problem. I would say number 19 in my picture is your issue. Pinion seal. Part number 09500-35528.
Where did you read that the part number is the seal size? The part number gives the seal size. Any auto parts store can match it. Ie 35 is I’d. 52 is outer diameter 8 is thickness all metric measurements. Almost all part numbers that start with a 0 are standard parts.
Ok. I can see your point. But move the decibel one place. 20 mm by 47 by 10 mm. As that is six digits !!!! You should say I am correct.Where did you read that the part number is the seal size?
I'm thinking there is a serious flaw in your info or logic.
I have a seal in my mid pto, 09502-04710, and that seal is certainly not 4mm ID, 71mm OD, and 0 mm thick.
I will say I'll be happy to be proven wrong.![]()
I will see if I can verify your claims that the part number is the seal size, I have never heard this.Ok. I can see your point. But move the decibel one place. 20 mm by 47 by 10 mm. As that is six digits !!!! You should say I am correct.
Yes almost all part #s that have 0 as the first digit are std. ie last 5 numbers of a bolt are dia. And length. A # 6203 bearing a standard bearing number. Would be 08101-06203. And 08121-06203 is sealed one side. Also 08141-06203 is sealI will see if I can verify your claims that the part number is the seal size, I have never heard this.
Sealed both sides. Ktc is changing numbers now to eliminate any competition or price comparisons.Yes almost all part #s that have 0 as the first digit are std. ie last 5 numbers of a bolt are dia.
