Hello from a sunny UK! First time user of Orange Tractor Talks so I apologise if I have posted in the wrong place.
I have recently purchased a Kubota G18 mower and although the ignition switch worked perfectly when I picked the mower up this weekend, since I carefully cleaned it with a hosepipe the stop solenoid no longer operates when I turn the ignition off.
I have left the tractor running, got off the seat with the parking brake off and I can get off the tractor but it still wont stop either with the seat stop switch or the ignition switch, and I have checked the fuses and they are ok.
Hope someone can help as I have no user manual or workshop manual (which I am in the market for if anyone has any links)
Thanks

Mark

Sounds like the fuel shutoff solenoid is jammed. It should be a small can attached just below the injection pump but I'm not familiar with that motor. Probably worth checking the wiring before outright replacing the solenoid.

Did the solenoid itself get wet in anyway? Those things dont do well with water, maybe it needs to be replaced.

Hello Eric yes it did get 'damp' but I think the problem is before that as there is no voltage going to the solenoid, I am going to try the other suggestion when I get home today.
Thanks for info
