I removed the breather plug and greased the front zerk until the breather overflowed. Then I switched to the back side front axle zerk and have used what seems to be half a tube and still no overflow from the breather. Should that one overflow also?

Could it have had no grease in it at all to take this much? It’s brand new.No overflow on the rear, too much grease and it will just force out the seal
That a good thing or a bad thing?Your grease went into the four-wheel drive tube.
When I remove that bolt do I just tap the cover towards the rear of the tractor?Pulling the cover back is as simple as removing one bolt.

Are you gonna be in deep water with this tractor? If not put everything back proper and worry on something more important.Show and tell time. So, I was able to get the cover back (it will only go so far) and look what we found...

I was able to remove all of that grease and a decent amount that was still inside the cover after sliding it back. I did that with a big zip tie (the end was pretty good for scooping).
Once I had as much out as possible I put the cover back on, BUT when I did this rubber seal popped off the end of the cover.

I was able to get that put back on, seems like it just press fit on.
Do you think this created a problem with that particular seal? I wouldn't think so, but it's just something else for me to worry about.
Thanks for all the help!
