What size and type of tires do you have? How much space do you have between the tires and the fenders? You need to know those things before knowing if you need spacers and the size of the spacer.

I wasn't able to get to the tractor today , so I'll check tomorrow . I seem to think there was @ 3-4 " from top of tire to bottom of the fender .
thanks

You want to measure both the distance from top of tire to bottom of fender AND the distance from the sidewall of the tire to the inside of the fender. The sidewall to fender clearance tells you if you need spacers.

If you have R4 tires you need roughly 1-1/2" - 2" spacers for fender clearance. If you have R1's you don't need spacers and you can adjust the rims to get the needed clearance.

OK Thanks , I have 15x 19.5 NHS Titan Trak Loader R4 . SO when you folks mention adjustable wheels , your talking like on he old farm tractors where the wheel hub stays mounted to the axle & you move the rim in & or out to adjust the width of the wheel ? OK we're on the search for a set of 2 " spacers .
thanks folks

On my L3540 and L4060 I could put the right wheel on the left and the left on the right and it spaces it out about 2 inches for chain clearance.

Take out the bolts at the rim.

'Correct. The R1 wheels are two piece and tread width is adjustable over about a 6" range. The R4's are one piece and not adjustable.

Forgot to mention I got the spacers from Bro-Tek . They were the only folks I contacted that had them in stock & they were priced much better than most I was looking at .
thanks

Fyi, I have the factory spacers which are only about 1 inch on my L2501 with R4s. They were fine last Winter.

Yes, I have chains that I used during the last two Winters. They are ladder style chains that I got from tirechain.com

in regarards to post #8, I have a 2009 L3400 and it has R-1 tires- it looks like the left can be put on the right and the right on the left, so this would a 6 inches also?
