Then this pops up... about an hour or so away.
You might not like the R4 tires if you are in the red Georgia clay. They tend to be useless in the mud.

B2650 is a good machine if you can get it well discounted on retail.

I’m going to look at the one I posted from eBay. It sold, but buyer backed out. Seller got in touch.

Anything specific I should check other than fluids, functions and overall appearance? Do tractors have titles? He said it is still financed, and will write me a bill of sale.

0. If it were me, I would go test drive a B2650 at a dealer somewhere just so I know what a new machine operates/feels like. Then, when you look at a used unit, if something is grossly amiss - you'll know it.

1. Check the hours - if it exceeds the standard intervals (50, 100, etc) ask if there is documentation showing work was done. If the owner did the work, ask for receipts for the fluids that were changed. Ask if it had any other issues or work done - again, receipts are needed. Some of this is an honesty game here.

2. Check fluids on rear transaxle, front axle and engine oil - look up locations/how to do this on youtube.

3. Spend 10 minutes visually inspecting the machine. Take your time. Don't do a 30 second glance over. Look very carefully for things that don't look right - does it look like it got driven through a forest and the underside/wiring/hoses are all beat to hell? It is a tractor, not a collector car - but you don't want something that was beat. Tip: if the owner is standing and watching and it makes you feel uncomfortable or distracts you (you feel like you should hurry up) - offer that you want to look it over if he has a few chores to attend to (he can keep the keys so you don't turn it on).

4. Drive the unit, make sure it functions in all features (i.e. run it in L,M,H, 4x4, differential lock, PTOs). If the owner has the capability - use the loader, make sure it functions properly.

As far as the title. Good question. I don't know the answer, hopefully someone here will, but when I bought my B2601 I don't recall getting any sort of title. I paid cash. If you finance it I would think there has to be some sort of lien on the tractor - tying the tractor to the loan/lender? I could be wrong - would be curious if others know.

Here’s the pictures he sent. 2017 with 90hrs. All attachments are included, including an EA root rake grapple.
I will ask about the 50hr service/receipts.

The only thing that would scare me about that is until it is paid off it is owned by the finance company. I am not a lawyer and may be wrong but I believe if he doesn't pay it off and misses payments and the finance company wants to repo it you won't have a legal leg to stand on other than suing the seller. To be on the safe side you may want to pay off the lien and give the seller the difference (if there is any).
Two examples:

Yeah I’m with wgator. There is no titles for tractors. If its financed its the lein holders tractor until its paid for. You cutting the guy a check doesn’t mean he is going to take it and pay the loan off. I think there was a horror story about that on here somewhere where the buyer had the tractor repoed because the seller didn’t pay it off. Not to try to scare you but tread carefully.

In this case the seller admitted it was financed so go with him to the bank and settle things there. But in general, with no title, license, or deed, how does one determine if there is a lien against a tractor? The lender could be from any town, county or state.

I think a B2650 is more than adequate for your needs and that one with all the stuff with it looks great.

Thanks for the heads up on the lien, hadn’t thought about that.

Bad news, the guy that bought it on eBay got PayPal involved, he has paid for the tractor. PayPal had some type of glitch while he was paying and it never went through... I don’t know. Seller is pretty sure it has sold.

Gonna contact my dealer and tell him to get a LX prepped once they hit the lot.

That's unfortunate - that was a lot of attachments and a very tidy machine. LX also a nice machine though. And I have one of those land rakes and never use it, so there's some storage space you've saved right away.

I would shop a lot harder. Just a thought the canopy can be purchased at about 30-40% less. A quick hitch can be bought from Rural King for $99.99 CAT 1. An after market tiller $1700, etc This dealer needs to sharpen his pencil a lot.

The other dealer I got a quote from was $21k for tractor with FEL and remotes. That was before adding implements.

The tractor as built msrp is $22.8

A couple things from my side of the business (auto business not tractor business) but being a brand new model, chances of getting a good deal on one are likely pretty low when they are first released. Along with that getting a brand new model you are also the test dummy for what could be wrong with it.

Yes, but tractors aren't like cars. "Brand new model" typically means we changed the indicator stalk. It's basically the same tractor as the old B2650, there aren't a lot of new features that you'd be being test dummy on.

Settled on an LX2610 with FEL, 2 rear remotes, canopy and the larger R14 tires.
Putting some $ down on Saturday. Should take a few days to get the wheels/tires and install everything. Will have to wait on tiller and box scrape to come in, but will pickup tractor, cutter and quick hitch once ready.

Good choice that's a nice tractor and congratulations!
One thing you might reconsider are the larger tires if they are taller,. A member here a year or so back bought a B2650 with the optional larger tires same as come on the B3350, even had them filled, and experienced a lack of power in some conditions such as mowing up hill. LX2610 (assuming it comes with the same tires as a B2650) is plenty tall with plenty of ground clearance with the standard tires. With the money saved going back to the standard size tires you could buy a set of 2" spacers to widen the stance which IMO would be more desirable.
