b7100 radiator overflow whistle

Nuther question. Keep reading about the radiator overflow whistle and wondering what/where it might be. Both radiators I have just have a tube routed down the side of the radiator to vent the overflow to the ground and what look like standard radiator caps.

What is it that makes it whistle?

At the end of the hose is a plastic attachment which is the whistle if it has one.

Bob, actually your tractor only whistles when a good looking opposite gender tractor is in the neighborhood!

Guess I don't have the whistle, plan to add an overflow tank anyway.

I’ll try to post a picture of mine if I remember tomorrow afternoon.

I believe mine is brass and you can tell it is a whistle by looking at it.

Mine is horizontal at bottom left side of radiator.

If it has a whistle that is for over heating notice (steam whistle )

Here is the whistle on my L185 at the end of
the radiator hose (obviously).
It sounds off when the tractor over heats and is loud enough to hear over the tractor and a shredder while wearing ear plugs.

That's good to know. I wondered if I would hear but I am in no hurry to find out.
