I have an oil leak in the front of the engine...the flywheel must be removed, there is a large nut that must be removed first... I donot know what size this nut is and donot know where I could purchase a socket to fit this nut...Is this a special Kubota socket to remove this nut? Where can I rent or buy the socket I need to remove this nut... thanks Spencer

It's a 46mm. The problem is that they needs to be a little deeper than most sockets you can buy (I tried). The shaft sticks out a ways past the nut.

My neighbor purchased one from Kubota to replace the front seal on his 3450. I borrowed it from him last year when I rebuilt the motor on my L5240.

Thank you so much for that information....not having any luck whatsoever with Kubota people here down south...if by any chance you would have a company name we could purchase this 46mm socket from....It would really help us out... thank you again ....Spencer

I forget which manufacturer sells it, but there's an axle nut tool that is made for ATV axle nuts that fits absolutely perfect. I don't remember if if it was for a Kawasaki or yamaha or honda or...for that matter it may have been a Mercury Marine special tool. I have a friend who owns a dealer, I may go by there and ask. I've used it a bunch of times. Probably need to get the numbers off of it and order one for myself anyway.

If there is any kind of a chance to let me know what (brand or company Name) that sells that Axle nut tool that would fit the flywheel nut on my Kubota L2600DT....I would very much appreciate it... Thanks Spencer
