Yeah, the Flagstaff area has several commercial cinder pits, and you can buy from 4" all the way down to cinder sand, lots of size mixes, and few mixes with other rock. (Kinda like abc, but with cinders) It also comes in black, wine red, sort of purple, and color mixes. I usually use a 1" minus for the driveway, in wine red, but this batch is more purple.

My county road guys used some black stuff on my gravel road this spring, not the usual, I at first thought it was re cycled/crushed asphalt but turns out it is lava rock, run though a crusher. It makes a great gravel road surface, it really locks together tight, and kind of looks good too, most important it doesn't get dusty like the stuff they usually use.

2 more loads of firewood split, hauled and stacked.
Then towed my trailer with 3 yards of wood chips to the greywater processing bed .
It still had to be to be shoveled out by hand but it was as nice a day as we've had in many months and it feels good to be outside working.

Put the Gearmore forks on my bucket and moved my 1972, factory enclosed ONAN 2.5LK generator out to my garage. Onan weighs about 400 pounds.

I finally got to put my new (to me) B7100 HST to work last night. I had to get my garden in order and do some grading to train my runoff. So I tilled it up with my Cub Cadet 982 & PTO tiller, then I got in there with the B and scooped up the soil and hilled it to a high single row. It's very wet in this area right now and it's been raining since this time last year:eek: Anyway I got to work out the loader a little bit and moved a good bit of soil along with some back dragging to pretty it up. I was a little surprised that the tractor would actually bog down without spinning the tires if I tried to take too big a bite, but overall it saved me a few hours of back breaking work to get done. Weather forecast for Monday is looking promising, so I have some brush hogging to do. Looking forward to getting the B to my hunting lease and hooking up the brush hog for first time

Had the farm tire truck out and pulled both 34's on the new / old M9, suck out the CACL, put in new tubes and button them up. 160 for the tubes, 160 labor.

I hate that crap. Ruins rims. Asked the tire guy what they were loading with today. He pointed at a 55 gallon drum of windshield washer fluid.

I said no rim guard or beet juice. H said no way. Cannot pump it.

I can get a new pair of 34 Titans on Titan rims (what Kubota uses OEM) for $520 each. That's bias in R1.

Be buying 4 34's and 4 26's next spring.... Oh boy.

Sounds like you have it in high range and not low range. ;)

Where do you have a hunting lease?
I lease 180 acres close to where I live. (and that's about as definitive as I'll get )

NIW - I 'thought' I was in low, but now I'll have to go and check for sure (shakes his head):(

I also noticed recently with my L4701 that it would bog down and not spin in medium range too. Apparently low is the only way to go if you want maximum bite. In low it doesn’t bog at all. Though I’ve seen people say they use M for most FEL work.

I Used my G5200 'garden tractor' as motive-power to move snowmobile-trailer while loading the sleds and preparing them for summer-storage.

With chevron-tred tires on the rear, my G5200 is perfect for moving trailers around the property.

NEXT TASK: Drag the driveway-grader around for awhile to smooth out the winter ruts.

This little 600cc diesel is so efficient that I am still running on last-years fuel.
