    Help with pricing to sell

I have a b7100d 4x4 with 219 loader and factory front pump with subframe. I am considering selling the unit instead of motor replacement and need some help with what it might be worth. Everything on the tractor worked perfectly until (if some of you read my post) it froze and the block is...

    Compression in the radiator )Help

85, Keep in mind mine was 75/25 and froze causing all this issue. My tractor has less than 1200hrs and was in a covered shed but froze anyway no way I would ever go less than 50/50 again. I live in south GA so you are in way more danger than I if you mix more water. J

    Compression in the radiator )Help

Little late for that:eek: I didn't know I had an issue until it was already running. Motor started and had no issue with idle or throttle increase only noticed because of the stream of glycol spraying out the overflow tube. I will get to it after I finish the other two projects I already had...

    Compression in the radiator )Help

Tooljunkie, Temp dropped down to 19deg F two nights in a row, but the wind chill was around 5deg f, it never got above 30 in the day. Never had it happen before so not sure why this time other than bad luck. I will check the gasket too, but its a lot of compression. J

    Compression in the radiator )Help

I hear ya, but its not worth 1500-2500 for repairs or a new block. I love the tractor but sometimes it just isn't worth it. I'll go through and see if its a head but I doubt it with my luck. J

    Compression in the radiator )Help

My guess too, I guess my little mint condition tough guy with 1600hrs will end up in the scape yard if its the block.:(

    Compression in the radiator )Help

Billdog, No ice in system, the pressure is instant right at the start and continues doesn't even have time to warm up to expose hot spots. The motor runs fine, but regarless of rpm the pressure continues to push coolant out, any chance this is a head gasket or not. I agree about the coolant...

    Compression in the radiator )Help

Ok, First let me say stupid mistake on my part. I am in central Georgia and never really thought about the tractor freezing (B7100D), well it did:eek: I saw the freeze plug on the head back toward the fuel tank was out so I replaced it. I filled the radiator with Anti-fz then started the...

Replace the PTO seal on a b7100d

I thought I would post as a favor to all those who have a leak at the PTO shaft. A few weeks ago there was a thread that showed how to change and what to change so I thought I would share my experience from today. The process is simple: 1. Degrease the PTO plate 2. Drain the hydraulic fluid...

    B7100 rear PTO seal replacement

Dlumpy, It would appear that I will have no option but to take apart and check everything, my rear plate doesn't have the two indents for a screw driver. Probably better to open it up and check that way I know for sure. Rgds, J

    B7100 rear PTO seal replacement

Johan42, While I am still waiting on others to reply, I can tell yo that all you removed was the rubber part of the seal. The rusted circle around the rubber part is the main part of the seal. A new seal will consist of the metal ring with the rubber attached and a small spring looking circle...
