what type of Amsoil should I use

I was hoping someone that uses Amsoil would chime in, like maybe Bulldog. I use the HD 15-w40 marine/diesel in my 01 Duramax. The Kubota is a 2012 and Amsoil has the OE and the premium 15-40 that is engineered for 2007 models and newer, since the amsoil rep doesnt have a clue I was wondering...

    Installing Amsoil remote bypass

Hey guys I have decided to add the amsoil remote bypass to my Kubota. My question is there is a allen head plug in the Kubota filter head, is this a good place for the oil feed line? In my duramax the oem filter head has 4 of these plugs all on the feed side, so I would assume the Kubota is...

    water/fuel separator

Yeah thats the PIYA of it all, you can never fine true micron ratings, it does say on pg 449 that it is a 2 micron rating but not if its nominal or absolute. My guess though how they have the nominal micron rating listed and then in () have the absolute figure, that there listings are nominal...

    water/fuel separator

bulldog, I looked up the 65/75 series water separators and the #66 elements are showing 5 micron nominal and 25 micron absolute. I believe nominal means that it only catches 50% of stated value and absolute means 98%, maybe Im reading wrong but I would like to find something with a better rating

    water/fuel separator

Bulldog, what part # is the 2 micron replacement element? Can I just simply replace the oem 15 micron with the 2 with no adverse issues? If the system is gravity fed only... when adding an auxillary water separator and a 2 micron secondary will the injectors get enough flow without adding any...

Blowing a 5 amp "key stop" fuse

Daren thats what I originally thought but would the tractor run for a good 20 min before blowing the fuse? If there was moisture it would have blown the fuse as soon as I put it in right?

Blowing a 5 amp "key stop" fuse

Hey guys, I was out hogging the other day. I was cutting an area that I needed to cross over a ditch, when I did I sunk down a little and was stuck for a couple of minutes, after working the FEL and getting out I started mowing for about 2 minutes and then the tractor just died out. When I...

    clutch making noise @ 160hrs

Wolfman, I checked the linkage its within the 1" that it should be. When I say noise, its hard to describe. At idle you obviously hear the motor, but also maybe like a low static noise, and as stated when you clutch the noise disapears. Would what you mentioned fall under my powertrain warranty?

Sorry guys Im not trying to start a debate on the backhoe vs excavator. Obviously we all know an excavator is designed for the job and it does a hell of a job but I cant bushhog nor could I grade my dirt road with it. In a perfect world I would have a mini ex for digging, a svl90 for grading...

    clutch making noise @ 160hrs

Hey guys I have a MX5100 with 160hrs on it and Im noticing my clutch is getting noisy, I can hear it at idle as if you can hear it spinning, when you depress clutch pedal it goes quite. Is this normal wear and tear or should I be concerned?

Bill, I figured I would get responses like this. If I had work that would sustain that big of a payment, I would def. agree on the mini ex. The only prob is that to find a decent one they have over 3k hours of beating and are still 20k. There are pros and cons to both, ie: maintenance on two...

Hey guys Im contemplating adding a BH92 to the MX5100. I was hoping some guys who use the BH92 would let me know their thoughts on it and any likes or dislikes they have. I know I can find a decent used mini ex with 2500+ hrs for 15k-20k but I wont be using it enough to merit spending that...

    Swapping r4's for r1's

I have a 600+ lb boxblade!! and im still needing more traction. Can you put to much weight on back? ie: 500+lb of water per tire, 600+ boxblade, and an additional 300lbs per wheel in weights would that be to much?
