    L275 rear noise

Well, it turned out to be rather simple. I decided to search the forum just for rear end noise (rather than specific to my model as I had done before posting) and stumbled upon the answer in a couple of previous posts. I didn't notice it when I removed the wheel but the bolts holding the hub...

    L275 rear noise

Lately I have been hearing an intermittent noise from the right rear area that is getting worse. Its not a grinding sound, more of a ka-thunk every couple of revolutions of the tire. We thought it might have been a bad bearing in the rear but when I pulled off the axle case cover all the...

    DIFFERENTIAL will not unlock

For what its worth, I have had good experience with Western Kentucky Tractor Parts. I had a non-working 4wd on my L275, determined the problem, called them and gave them the part number that I needed. Unfortunately I gave them the incorrect part number for one of the pieces. It was all my...

    L275 problems.....

Thanks for the reply. On the 4wd problem, I downloaded a copy of the parts manual page from Messicks, so I know what parts I need. However, they (and other suppliers) don't stock most of them and Wengers (the salvage company) didn't have anything either last time I checked. I guess parts for...

    L275 problems.....

Hey guys, Its been quite awhile since I've been on here (been busy trying to build an addition). I have a L275 4 wheel drive tractor that I'd like to get back to working on. The first issue was that the 4wd was not working. I have since found out that right side mechanics behind the...

    L245DT Front Axle Leak Repair

I'm not sure about the 245, but if its similar to my 275DT there is a seal in that needs replacement that shouldn't be terribly difficult. On the 275 there are a few pieces including two sets of bearings but not too bad to take apart. Make sure to replace it or keep it full of fluid. The PO...

    L275 4wd problem...

Hey guys! Its been quite awhile since I've posted. (I've been too busy on other things to work on my Kubota). I took off the RH hub assembly and disassembled it. The gears were rounded off pretty badly. Upon further inspection it seem that the seal had given up which allowed all the...

    Hydraulic problems

If it were me, I'd check the hydraulic pressure like Bulldog suggested. I checked mine on my L275 it was low and I couldn't fix it at the pressure relief valve so I bought a new pump. After changing it I found that the pump wasn't the problem and I had/have a few other gremlins to sort out...

Where should the loader nameplate be?

Well I found where the nameplate was. (On the left side front on the inside of the loader arm). It was a foil sticker that had been painted over and partially ripped. I can read the serial number which is little help at this point and the last 3 digits of the model number which are 173. The...

    Paint Question

I'm guessing that Kubota changed their 'Blue' somewhere along the line also? I bought a can from the local dealer and it looks different, but it shure is purty,. That and Valspar makes it look alright. Oh, and by the way, a 55 gallon drum provides nicely sized patch panels for the rim on a...

another hydrolic question - really a continuation of some other posts

Jack, I'm thinking that if we can't get our hydraulic troubles sorted out we should just take our tractors over to Butch's. You're a little ways down the road and Butch has got to be close to me since he's in Rising Sun.:p

Hi everybody - new guy here

Welcome, Boogity! It's a great place to learn about tractors and swap stories. Just watch out for Scott when he starts with his pictures to illustrate his points! He gets on a roll and can't stop.:D

    Hydraulic pressure

Well, yes and no. It makes sense to me and that is what crossed my mind at first, but following the manual instructions, both mine and the page that Vic posted on pg1, I see no mention of the 3pt needing to be under load. Anyhow it looks like rain for a couple of days and since I don't have...

    Hydraulic pressure

Yes, it oozes oil when you use the 3pt control. I haven't checked other than that. The other funny thing is that once I took the weight off the drawbar the pressure guage now doesn't register when using the 3pt control. I'm going to try to use "Labmetal" to repair the cracks and see what happens.

Where should the loader nameplate be?

Well since I can't find anything, can anyone ID this loader? thanks
