    Kubota #3 (CTL)

Took the L2501 into the dealer for some service; walked out with a quote for a SVL-75-3. It was right about what I had expected in my mind, and I think I'm going to get it. Any tips/tricks for specing out a Compact track loader? My primary use will be clearing and maintaining land I own, as...

    L3800 l3901 l2502

I have a 4 year old L2501 with 16 hours, I guess it's suspect too. Spends most of it's time in the tractor shed. Of those machines, I'd go new L3901 or used L3800. I don't know anything about the 3800 but a grapple+3rd function kit is at least $3000.

    Everything Attachments - Bankrupt?

Every time, on this and other forums, a question about the necessity of collecting "all monies up front" was raised there was immediate pushback saying (paraphase) "EA Is the best", "Dont' like it, don't use them" and so-on. If you bought something with a check or cash instrument and haven't...

    Everything Attachments - Bankrupt?

I'm disappointed to hear they are having problems. When I ordered my grapple back in 2022, I chose Homestead Implements simply because I did not feel comfortable prepaying $2600 for an item I wouldn't receive for 6 months. Surprise was on me, Homestead charged me on day one and I received my...

    Reservations about an 8 y/o L3901 HST

That's not a great price around here. I'd not pay more than $20k for a package like that. Breaking the plastic grill is nothing, it's so easy to do with a grapple or just even driving through a field and a branch hits it. Wouldn' think twice about it, if everything else looks like it was...

Need advise on L series package

I have a L2501 and a similar package to what you have, so this is my opinion. Get the L3902, RCR2060, and R1 (or at least, R14) tires. No one ever complained about having too much power, and frankly I wish I had bought the L3901 when I was specing my machine out - about the same usage as you...

Something a little closer to Orange.

Ah man you certainly had some issues with it. Too bad you weren't closer I'd have taken it off your hands. I have a JD '40' and a '420' as well as the 'A'. The '40' is going to need a rebuild sometime in the next decade, but it gets about 2 hours of use a year so it can last a long time at...

Something a little closer to Orange.

Nice tractors. Not sure what the problem with the "B" is, but the "M" is a nice addition but know it's a different size than the "B" - the "M" would be somewhere between a JD "A" and a "G". Anyways I have a few 2-cyl JD tractors and my "A" has become unreliable as well - need to tear into it...

    Howdy from Cheyenne Wyoming

I have cruise control on my L2501 - it was around a $220 option. You might be able to get the dealership to deliver the tractor at no or low cost.

    Howdy from Cheyenne Wyoming

Bob, I too recommend you look at a L2501/2502. If your budget is a hard $25k, can you put a good portion of that down a do a small financing amount? I find the 2501 is the best compromise between size and power. My next tractor will be a much larger cabbed machine but the 2501 will...

Mudflaps, rock guards, gravel guard, rock tamers, etc. - what do you use?

How have you been - Enjoying the spring up in the Big sky country? When I first saw that last picture, I thought those were some awesome tailpipes. I think I'd rather have the flaps on the truck as well, instead of something on the trailer. I keep telling the wife I'm looking for a set of flaps...
