Yeah, they really are. It's one of those things that makes me think, how many Americans would never appreciate the beauty of a tractor or some other piece of working equipment. And how lucky I am for not being one of them :)

To the best of my knowledge there is only the rear pto, and since it's not live, it makes using the loader more difficult, especially with the brakes acting as they do. So no one knows a good place to get the service manual? :(

You didn't say if all of your hydraulics bled out and are laying on the ground unable to be lifted, or if they are holding their position and you are simply unable to move them, but I assume that they are all in the positions that you left them and their isn't a huge puddle of fluid somewhere :D...

In general, I would say, no, it is not "normal" at all. You would almost have to have a hydraulic leak or bad cylinder for that to happen. It is not uncommon for the system to wear and to bleed after years of use though. As for any adjustments I'm not familiar with that particular model.
