Urgent help required on a front loader.

Rob, It might be reaching, but maybe that loader was not made by Kubota. I put a loader on my B7100 this year. They only thing I knew about the loader is that it might be a Johnson and it was off of a Bolens tractor. I spent hours searching images for my loader. In the end I learned that my...

@#$%&! Why do people do this to a Hydraulic Screen!

My previous owner went one step further. He ripped the screen off completely and put it back in. But not to fear metal chips rubbing on O-Ring seals in your valve improve lubrication and have no wearing effect on rubber what so ever!

Ummmm......honestly? I have never in my life dreamed of a weekend like that. My dreams are much more realistic. I hit the lotto and buy the kubota and the mower! Congtrats JWB!

    opinions on new loader valve

Thanks Butch! My loader is from a Bolens tractor. I added to my 7100 myself. The control valve was was mounted to the loader. The loader is a Johnson but nearly every part on it is the same as the Kubota B219 loader that was available for my tractor back in 82. I suspect that back then, Johnson...

    opinions on new loader valve

I think this is what I am going to buy. https://www.surpluscenter.com/item.asp?item=9-7761&catname=hydraulic The one I have works but only has 2 spools. It is also not power beyond which I want. Also, I want to add an aux spool to operate things such as a grapple. I know it's not a high...

    upgrade Hyd pump

In my opinion, it is not worth the cost on many levels. 1. if there is a 25% increase in lifting power, you can bet your sweet arse that there will be a 25% decrease in speed. Maybe it's not exactly the ratio, but you can determine the volume of the 2 cylinders and subtract the volume of the 2...

    upgrade Hyd pump

This is not correct. Once the cylinders are full and bleeding is complete, and you top off your reservoir, the height wont change unless you have leak. When the fluid is exiting one side of the cylinder, it is entering the other side. So the amount of fluid in your hydraulic reservoir will not...

    FEL model and serial number

Hi Andy, Sorry, but i can't help shed any light. I searched some pics of your loader, and the Cylinders are a bit different, but it doesn't mean the seals are different. $77 each seems like alot of money for seals. Couple more bucks you can get brand new cylinders at Supluscenter.com.

    ROPS and what can happen

Traildust, not to belittle your post on safety in any way shape or form, but.... My opinion is a bit different. Some may call it reckless, selfish or even in extreme cases suicidal. Do I really need a ROPS? Sure if my tractor had one when I bought it, I would leave it on, that's a no brainer...

    Kubota's for Work or Play?

Traildust, I do consider myself lucky. It's my dream house, well... as close to my dream house as I could afford and still live in a commute distance to New York City. Eric, I will be contacting you. I'm totally floundering on what to do. Everytime I sit on my back patio and ponder what to do...

I didn't think it was possible that a fuel filter could get that cruded up. It must have been there for years. Lot's of years.
