    could be a head gasket, could be a freeze plug, could be a cracked block, chances aer its one of the first 2 but you won't know untill you tear it apart.

    I've also seen rear main seals go from the engine just sitting and moistre gets between the seal and crank. Rust devlops and then when you start the engine it tears up the seal.

    i'd say bolts came loose, some crap got in the gasket and then when they tried to fix it with silicone they mushed the crap into the gasket when it got tightend down. prob just needs to be taken off and a new gasket installed and put back together.
