Zerk size

I am replacing a grease fitting, part number 75532-63470, which some sources identify as being 1/8"-27 NPT. I was a little surprised to see National Pipe Thread size rather than something metric. Does this seem correct?

Reason for replacement is that the hex shape has been rounded out by someone along the way, and I want to move the zerk to a more convenient angle. The old one will will come out with a vice-grip, and the new one will go in carefully at the right angle.

I believe SAE threads are correct for a USA market tractor.

It depends on where the zerk is.

It is one of the loader Zerks. I was able to twist it enough (loosen) to finish greasing, and I ordered a new Zerk from Lock N Lube along with a new tip and some Zerk covers.

Lock N Lube describes them as being 1/8 NPT. They do not specify threads per inch. For .95 cents, I added it to an order. If it is wrong, no big loss.

It is a 90 degree zerk, and those are always a little loose, because they seem to never point the right way if you tighten them up.

Maybe someone offers a rotating zerk? I will have to look for one.

Kubota's North American loaders ore built in Georgia by KMA, ( Kubota Manufacturing of America ). They will all be SAE zerks, hardware, tubes, and hoses.

If you have a harbor freight near you, they offer 50 piece zerk assortments in both SAE and metric for about $8. They go by the "storehouse" brand name.

Pick some up, you'll be happy you did.
