Have a 2011 ZD 326 commercial mower with 250 hrs. Mow approx 10 acres per week. Left bearing on mower deck started to make noise and wobble. Took to dealer for repairs they said blade was bent but no marks on blade like it hit anything. They said bottom bearing had grease but none on top, bent spindle and housing. They said it didn't fall under warranty cost 667.00. Then 10 hrs latter right bearing went out, took back to dealer and they was happy fix for another 156.00. Also had them replace center bearing while they at it. We have been mowing same 10 acres for 2 years. I don' t know why it is not warranty work.

I'd be talking to a second dealer and also calling Kubota corporate.

Doesn't sound right to me. No way those bearings should be failing that close together.

If the shaft IS bent and then put back together with NEW bearings, that will knock out a new bearing. I have rebuilt several mower decks and they are pretty easy to to yourself. I find the bearing and seal numbers and order them aftermarket online. DON'T but the CHEAP CHINESE bearings. Get Japanese, German or US bearings. I find them on ebay.

For what it's worth: we were killing deck bearings on a regular basis until we figured out what was happening...

We used to wash the deck with a water hose after each mowing episode. Resulted in repeat bearing failures.

Started blowing deck and entire mower clean with compressed air and no further bearing failures.
