ZD221 - right hand reverse doesn't work

Checked oil levels - all okay, actually topped it up over the dip stick marker. Checked all the linkages, right hand linkage movement is exactly the same as left hand. The right hand lever moves back for reverse, but there is no response. Anyone had the same problem?

Forward and reverse motion involve the same major rotating internal parts so if it's not external linkage it's likely a valve issue inside. The two hydro drives have relief valves for forward and reverse (see attached). One quick test would be to take out and inspect the relief valves on the right side drive. They are accessible from the outside and can be swapped to see if the issue swaps too. Best luck, Dick B
