ZD1211 Blade Holder setup

Man Kubota usually does it right but HOLY COW. The ZD1211 blade holder get up sucks green donkey dicks.

There's a CUP that you have to sit on top of the blade, then hold the splined shaft along with the twin spacer washers in place and THEN you can put the bolt on. Hard to do without having both hands to hold all that shit up there while threading the bolt in.

just when I thought they couldn't overcomplicate a lawn mower blade any more, they designed that. BUT...having worked on a couple other brands in the last 9 months, I can honestly say that there are also other brands that are even MORE complicated. Seal on top, then washer, blade, spline boss, flat washer, lock washer, bolt. Just dumb. Seem to me from a manufacturing and engineering standpoint, it could have been made just as effective for less $$$, but hey what do I know I'm just a dumb grease money!
