ZD1011 Deck height adjustment issue

Hello everyone! I just bought myself a 2017 ZD1011 and absolutely love it so far. I do seem to be having an issue with the height adjustment knob though it seems. I don’t believe I’m able to get to 5”, it seems like it stops rotating at 4.75. My question is does the knob have stops at both clockwise and counterclockwise or is it supposed to be free spinning? If it’s supposed to be free spinning how do I go about adjusting the hydraulic lift? I took a look underneath and it looks like there’s one more step on the knob but the deck arm that sits on the steps doesn’t quite clear it. Appreciate any help!

Edit: to explain better it seems like the deck isn’t being lifted all the way. I will check the fluid tomorrow.

And it's not a fluid issue, it could be a linkage issue?
