Hello all. New to forum and new to Kubota. I read a lot on OTT and all the forums before buying. Purchased a B6000 in excellent shape. Came with the FEL and the tiller. Everything works great.
On my "gotta have it" list is a rotary type mower deck. Have started looking here in SoCal for one. Any leads on equipment down this way would be greatly appreciated.
Great forum and lot of good threads here. Looking forward to learning even more.
I will post pics of the little orange beast as soon as I take 'em.

Update on the mower search and asking for a little advice.
I found a Frontier mower 48" cut and was wondering if it will work. Any help appreciated.

I hope you know the B6000 has a reverse PTO so only a mower deck made for that model will work unless you have a hub city PTO reverser which is hard to find and costly.

Thanks Chip. Have been searching for a "B6000 friendly mower" however, have found lots of good advice here including sharpening the other side of the cutter blades which will take care of the ccw pto issue.
Would like to find original equipment of course, but hey, grass needs to get cut.

I just purchased a k-44 mower deck for my b6000 and it works good. Its a belly mower and runs the same direction as other mowers but you have to put the belt in a figure 8 from the front of tractor to mower deck

One question would be, are you wanting a 3pt finish mower or a Mid-mount (belly) mower.

How wide is your possible search area, you willing to ship?

Have been looking around the country but have concentrated on the local area within 100-250 miles.
If I find it, I guess shipping would not be an issue. It depends on the circumstances. I am looking at a brush hog this weekend that might work.

Just picked up a 4 ft Brush Hog here locally for it. In great shape. Going to get the blade off and sharpen the other side this week.

No Thanks Mike. Appreciate you asking. Just going to go with this one I found here. Good Luck with the sale. Plenty of people looking for mowers.

I've got a 6000 with the Woods mower designed for the reverse PTO, but we have a broken portion of the 3 pt hitch and I'm having trouble finding the part. We aren't far apart - I'm in Valley Center - did you find a great source for 6000 parts in your search?

Thanks

I have found several sources but actually have had some frustration with getting people to get back to me when inquiring about parts. There is a guy I just got off the phone with who has a couple of B6000's he is selling parts from. Search craigslist in inland empire for kubota tractor and you will find him. Other than that, it's been like finding waldo.
