Everything seems to be jacking up in price these days. How about wood chippers? Have they spiked in price recently? Or should I buy one now before they hop on the inflation wagon?
If wood chippers are made out of steel and have to be transported at any time between the raw material stage and your driveway then YES! Any further comments on my part will get me in OTT jail or worse.
I purchased a Vermeer chipper 2 years ago and it is worth 50% more today than when I bought it. The same goes for my BX23S. It costs more to replace it today than when I bought it last year. The only thing that is going down is the buying power of the dollar, better known as inflation.
