Wobbling fan pulley on 39L

I noticed the fan pulley and fan are wobbling a small amount what could be causing this? Is the water pump about to go out? There is no leak or sounds present.

I noticed the fan pulley and fan are wobbling a small amount what could be causing this? Is the water pump about to go out? There is no leak or sounds present.

Engine off, see how much you can move the fan/pulley. If it has noticeable play, the water pump bearing is wearing. A little play is ok. If reliability is critical, you may want to have a spare on hand.

If it isn’t leaking now…. it may soon be….if it’s the shaft and not simply bent pulley and fan.
