Why is your vet bill so expensive?

Very interesting, thanks for posting that. Doubtful anything could be done about it at this point, but certainly informative.
We just took my Daughter's 2 dogs in yesterday, one a 15.5 yr old Dachshund the other a 10 month old Pyrenees and Corgi mix (yeah I know, how does happen).
Left with a bottle of anitboitics, nothing nneeded for the 10 month old pup.
Bill was just shy of $200.00, pretty reasonable visit (small town Deep East Texas). Daughter remarked that the same visit would have been well North of $500.00 in California where she lives.
