Which way do the heat shields go in for the injector nozzles?

I'm working on a D1105 E and just installed a new head. I purchased new crush washers and heat shields for the injectors, but I am having a difficult time finding documentation on which way the little boogers are supposed to go in the hole. Should they go in looking like a bell, or a cup? Does the widest part go toward the injector or toward the combustion chamber?

On the D902 engine the shield is inserted to make a cup for the nozzle.

i can suggest that you look at the illustrated parts list of your tractor and see if they show you the correct position

I would ASSUME that cup would be the correct position like @hagrid said

The solid flat washers are for the injector to head connection, the others are for the injector.

Thanks everyone. Indeed they do go in with the widest part towards the injector. I was able to confirm on the old heads.
