At the Kubota Parts site - there are two colors of Orange paint available.

One is "Orange" p/n 70000-73767 (for spray can),
the other is "Orange II" p/n 70000-73713 (spray).

My BX is a 2015 BX2370 (so I would think its "Orange II", but I want to be sure before I order). The color chart provided doesn't help (looks like either color could be correct for my tractor - and the colors are different). https://www.kubota.com/part/Paints.aspx

Does anyone know?

In case anyone cares - I found out that the paint color is the "Orange II" (p/n 70000-73713).

I didn't dig deep enough a the Kubota parts site, this time I went to Kubota Parts (Illustrated parts guide) and found that the paint color is listed for the specific BX model.

Sorry I didn't see your post earlier. I've been absent from this forum for quite some time. Chevy Engine Orange spray paint found at a lot of big box stores is an exact match to Kubota II and some what cheaper.

Duplicolor "Chevrolet Orange" color number DE1620 is a perfect match. Have used it to touch up areas on my BX 2230 FEL and on new hardware I've fabricated for the tractor.. repaint boundary of new paint feathered into original paint can't be seen...

Although in another thread, I was told the Kubota ignition switch may start turning itself off after using Chevrolet paint on it.. :):D:rolleyes:

After buying one quart of Kubota orange at a crazy price from the dealer, I found that Rustoleum Industrial International Orange is an exact match for the new (BX25D) paint. I've just finished spraying my cab, and thinned 25% with Acetone worked very nice.

Orange 1 was replaced by Orange 2 about 1986. If you have a machine newer then '86 you will have Orange 2.

My understanding is the color changed slightly when the Govt. required lead to be removed from industrial paint, because the tint couldn't be matched with the omission of lead.

My dealer told me the color change was in 1992, but probably doesn't matter if you have a 2015, huh.
