I have a Kubota Kommander Zero Turn with turf tires. We are on a slope and have wheel slip often. Any advice on a different type of tire to help with grip?

I don't think ballast works quite the same on a zero turn lawnmower. Slow down and reduce your speed up hill. Your going to fast.

I'd say try this and let 3-5lbs of air pressure out of the rear tires to soften it up just a tad and give a slightly wider foot print on the hillside. Think racing slick in drag cars. I do that with all my commercial mowers and notice a comfier ride and less likely to tear up the turf on turns.

I like Carlisle HD Field Trax tires, they are very grippy and not too bad on the lawn. Anything with a more aggressive tread pattern will be better than turfs though. Looking at the Kubota Kommader and see that it has "low profile" tires, I can't see any advantages?
