Not sure what it is but I do not like chili in any shape, form or flavor. Wife loves it and makes it all the time. Those meals for me end up being a ham sandwich or other leftovers

Not sure what you should call this but it’s a chicken, garlic, peppers and onion thing seasoned with some taco-like stuff and/or fresh cilantro.

Been making it many years. Actually very low fat.

Great on a flour tortilla or rice, topped with some hot picante, taco sauce, etc.

There’s a bunch of other toppings that would be good too, like sour cream, grated cheddar, shredded lettuce, etc., etc.

Made a pot of spicy black bean soup and topped it with cheddar cheese and some of my bacon. Tasty

We just made some airfryer sweet potato fries from our sweet potatoes that are finally cured and really sweet now along with some ham steak and cauliflower.

Jambalaya is a 'dry dish' and is not really a favorite of mine but you can't always have your favorite dish.
I prefer Gumbo, but this was good.

I can fix that dry thing for you. Dont skimp on the proteins and plate it up with a generous portion of Creole Sauce. This andouille, chicken, and shrimp recipe and presentation courtesy Paul Prudhomme.

the big invite all thanksgiving lunch at work,, my part one 18lbs turkey with apple and cranberry stuffing,, 2 spiral cut hams with blackberry/honey/ginger/clove glaze.. (my morning started here at 5am)

I baked bread yesterday, only ate half the loaf while it was still hot and fresh!

Today cut a couple of slices, and since I actually have a TOASTER OVEN, I decided to kinda use it like that ...

I drizzled a bit of BBQ sauce on the bread, then laid a piece of cheddar/mozzarella cheese on it, mushed it around a little to spread it out some, then flipped the cheese over ...

A little bit of browning on the bottom, cheese was nicely melted, bread was hot!

A nice hot, easy to make lunch, no mess either! 😄
