Fifty yeard ago i lived in Vienna, Va and there was a little place called the Vienna Inn. Their menu was almost exclusively chili cheese dogs and Budweiser draft. The owner told me that one year they sold more dogs and more Budweiser draft than Yankee stadium. He had a plaque from AB to back up half that story. Its still there and his Culinary Institute of America trained son is still selling copious quantities of dogs snd draft.Yes sir!

Where we used to live, there was a little restaurant that sold Chicago hot dogs. He got the dogs, pickles, and buns delivered from Chicago and they were unbelievable. Had a little hot pepper in them and amazing sesame seed buns. They were my most favorite hot dogs ever. Now we just eat the Costco 1/4 pound dogs and soda for $1.50Yes sir!

The "girls" waiting table make up their own dog orders and deliver them by they tray full. Place used to be totally packed from mid-morning to closing.Oh I would annihilate those!!!
I love anything with any honor system. The "girls" waiting table make up their own dog orders and deliver them by they tray full. Place used to be totally packed from mid-morning to closing.
Another interesting tradition. You dont get a check - you go to the cash register and tell them what you had. Mike used to ring it up on an old manual wooden register with popup tombstone numbers and kept the sales tax in a beatup tackle box so it would never touch his money

I've always loved costco's hot and ready deals. You just can't beat those prices for nothing.Where we used to live, there was a little restaurant that sold Chicago hot dogs. Kimchi comes in many different formulations some of which are deadly and I am a wimp. Cabbage , chives, and green onions only please. Friday was my first time in the local Hmart in almost a year and I stocked up on a bunch of stuff. The kimchi section is huge and you can buy gallon plus buckets of the stuff. I was working blind and opted for a small tray of "country style" just to be safe. Surprisingly it was only mildly hot and I wound up finishing it off in 3 days. That plate of bulgogi was the last of if. I cant imagine any Koreans touching something that bland.@TheOldHokie throwin' it down over there. Looks absolutely delicious sir!
I still have never tried kimchi. I see it more and more throughout various dishes and cooking shows. I need to expand my horizons and give it a shot.
Dan - that looks super. Like @BBFarmer, haven’t tried kimchi yet but it’s on my to-do list.Quick and easy after golf snack
