I am trying to decide between 4ft and 5ft grading scrapers for my BX23s. My dealer has the GS1548, GS0560, and GS1560 models available. I’m looking to maintain about 300ft of gravel driveway and don’t feel that I have enough skill to do it with my box blade.

A land plane, grading scraper or land leveler (different names for the same thing) is a way better tool for gravel driveways regardless of skill. There's quite a significant weight difference between the GS0560 and GS1560 models i.e. 350lb vs. 525lb. The GS0560 should be a good choice for your needs but that's not to say that you could have a good experience with the heavier model. I would suggest 5ft over 4ft though. What is the dealer saying? Look at Land Pride's website and check out the "Kubota Matched" option.

For the record, I have and use a 7ft box blade and 7ft land leveler, both from Everything Attachments, and the land leveler is way better on the gravel driveway.

The GS0548 and GS0560 are both recommended by Land Pride’s performance matched implements. I put their weight at 367lbs and 420lbs respectively when you account for the rear blade. The GS1548 allows for a 20-50 HP tractor and weighs 437 lbs when you add in the shanks. And the GS1560 is 525lbs like you said but LP recommends a 25-50hp tractor.

Go with the land plane as I find it easier than a box blade. I have a 60 inch Frontier land plane which I have used with my BX2680 and my JD 2032R. I find with the BX that if I load the plane up with gravel I will run out of traction. The Deere works better but is substantially more tractor. In making the choice between between the 48 and 60 I would choose the 60 inch due to better leveling of material. You will need to go easy on the loading and make more passes. My BX does not have a loader on it and I learned with the broom on the front for weight (traction) it handles it better. If the loader is not enough you can pick up extra ballast with it.

I have a 1400’ gravel driveway to maintain, using my BX25D, so I copied a buddies and welded one up 60” wide. 23 HP pulls it just fine, and it does a phenomenal job on a gravel road, compared to a box blade

That looks pretty sharp!
I cheated and painted it Kubota Orange, even added a couple Kubota stickers. Mostly scrap iron, but bought AR steel for the two “ cutting edges” that collect and roll the gravel. I had a good “ teacher” on setting up implements on a quick hitch, and building them in general.
He helps lots of folks on this sight still.

Here's my EA land leveler in action. It's a beast at over 800lb and it does a great job on the gravel driveway. An important feature of a grading scraper is to allow some gravel to build up in the "box" so that you can put it where you want it and not where you don't.
