I lost my manual, what oil do I use in the front axle of a 1999 L3010 4x4 hst and how much do I fill it thanks

I have no dipstick, I used a piece of coat hanger and had about an 1" in the bottom so I added 2 pints
Front side of axle left hand side sitting on the tractor. You have a plug, pull plug and fill with UDT till it weeps out that hole.

Looking from the front of the tractor on the left side on the axle about half way down the front of the axle is the plug I pulled it takes a 1 1/6th wrench is this the correct one?? If so I put in 2 pints thru that hole. Approx. how much does front axle hold? As I am sure I am no where near the bottom of that fill hole, should I keep adding until it leaks out? Thanks
Yes that small plug about half way up the axle. Your fill plug is on the opposite end of the axle.
