Long time lurker and hoping you can help.

Looking at purchasing this loader for my L3600 and wondering if this is a DIY job. DIY to me would mean simple bolt on with no fab work or welding/cutting required.

I got the install manual and it lacks a lot of detail which could mean 1 of 2 things. 1) Its easy and straight forward or 2) they don't want to show the detail to avoid scaring off potential customers. ;)

Thanks in advance.

I just installed a ta26 on mine, it was easy. I did buy the correct brackets. The hard part was installing a joystick but the FEL was just bolted on the bracket and plug it in.

I've had three different aftermarket loaders on different machines over the last many many years. Truthfully I've never been pleased with any of them. There's always something that just didn't fit or act right. Current two Kubotas are perfect fits.

If you go aftermarket make durn sure you get all the pieces-parts to let it fit YOUR specific machine. I found mine were fits-all-but-not-really-so-much, requiring a lot of tweaking and tuning instead of just bolting on.

Oh yeah, a memory: if yours requires a belly-band be sure you get it and install it. Without it the loader arms might slightly deform under load and shear a bolt. Use quality hardware throughout---if doubtful get a matching fastener with marked Grade-8 or better head from reputable supplier.

Be cautious on fastener length: I had a supplied 'fits-all' bolt so long it ran in through the frame attachment point and hit the flywheel. I had to back the bolt out and shim it with a split washer as it wasn't coming back out. Still there when I sold it and still running elsewhere in the county.

Personally I gave up and now regardless of brand just buy matching brand loaders to match tractor. I predict you'd be a lot happier over time putting a Kubota loader on your Kubota machine---or green onto green or blue onto blue.

Please post back with your experiences so we may all learn.
