Seems everything I'm finding is to convert to SSQA. I'd rather go the other direction and weld on 1" pin brackets to a new rock bucket. I have two other buckets so instead of converting both of those and the FEL, I'd rather take the time to pin the other one on instead. Does anyone know of ready made weld on brackets to do this? My FEL is an older 1200 on a L245DT. TIA for any info.

I don't know of anyone that makes brakets for a 40+ year old loader.
I think you'll need to either fab it up yourself or have someone else do it.

Greensvillejay: i wrote to them asking for more info and when they'd be available again. kind of hard to decipher their drawing.

North Idaho Wolfman: I can fab them but was hoping for a quicker universal type that weld or bolt on to save a bunch of time. Where are you at in N. Idaho? I'm from here, and currently live in Hayden. Grew up in Bonners Ferry and graduated HS in St Maries. Have property in Hoodoo Valley by Clagstone and need a rock bucket in the worst way for all the glacial rock there.

Can you send pics of your pin on on and SSQA buckets. Shouldn't be that hard to get the dimensions of your pin ons, and ruin a perfectly god SSQA bucket. (kidding here, but I'd rather fab up an pin on to SSQA adapter for the loader so I could use all sorts of SSQA Attachments - you could still pin on your old buckets)

for one tractor I just used 1/4 x 4 x 4 angle iron sections,reinforced the hole area with 1/x x 3 x 3 plates.

My tractor is out at my other property so I need to get some pics of it out there. I know the pin to pin distance is 8 1/4". Bottom pin allows 3.5" distance between bucket and loader frame at it's closest movement point. Top pin has 1.5" from cylinder to the back of the bucket. I still need to measure the cylinder eye width. I know they are narrower than the newer style (like 3.5"), and the distance between loader frames in narrower than newer styles but I forget the measurement. I know because I cut the tabs off a newer bucket and moved them to fit this loader.
My original bucket i turned into a rock/dirt sifter with a grapple. It's just not large enough for the incredible amount of rocks I'm dealing with, so I'm looking to buy a regular rock bucket, which would be SSQA, but I am starting to lean the direction you mentioned...Pin on SSQA adapter. Looks like I'll be doing a good bit of fabricating so I may as well go that way I'm thinking. Price wise it would probably be a wash.
