This is to confirm which rated trailer size I need to get. My mx5800 weighs a little over 3700 lbs by itself per the brochure on it. I got the weight of my bush hog and tiller off Woods website. I can’t find anywhere what the loader LA1065 weighs & it has the standard light material bucket on it or can I find the BH92 weight which has the 24inch bucket. Does anyone have the real numbers for this stuff? Dealer says at least a 10k trailer to be safe. I know I need at least 24 foot long. I don’t want to be under rated on it.probably gonna have to be a gooseneck for the length I need. Smallest options are a 12k or 14k locally.

I have a 14,000 corn pro deck over gooseneck, derated to 12,000 due to bias ply rubber. I suggest this size (20 ft bed, 5 ft tail) because it is very common. It should serve you well but these trailers can be heavy. Mine is 4500 lbs and that weight is DEDUCTED from the gross trailer capacity. Opt for hydraulic brakes, you won't regret it, LED lights as well.

Great advice I have a 24 flat with a 3 foot tail with two 7000lbs axles. The trailer weighs 4300 so you still can carry 10,000 on the axles. It is a goose neck which will allow you to carry more tounge weight.

What are you hauling it with?
While having a heavy weight capacity trailer is best, having one that exceeds the capacity of the tow vehicle will not help you any.
And I 100% agree on getting a Goose neck trailer!
