Hi I just wanted to let everyone know that I had the Kubota dealer put the L3800 HST to the test today with the QA Pallet Forks on (rated 1200 lbs I believe) And they loaded it until it started to tip the back wheels. unloaded tires and no counterweight !!
The grand total on a 4' X 4' Pallet was 960 LBs !

Finally a straight answer :)

Well that was good to be able to run a real measurable test. Does this mean it will be big enough for your job? Are they going to give you a good deal? Good luck

The specs for the fel rate the lift capacity at around 1200 lbs at the pin and ~800 at the end of the bucket. I imagine that the pallet forks are the same. The weight at the pin would include the weight of your forks. I wonder if this the max they recommend. I had an alleged 1800 lb tote of barley pellets in my truck bed which a removed with a chain and the loader. I was not able to lift the fel, but I was able to roll the bucket up to lift it from the truck bed. In doing so, while the rear end stayed on the ground (loaded tires and back hoe) the steering was crap and I was probably stressing my front axle and frame. Just food for thought.

Cheers,

Front Grille Guard I think ?

delivered to me.

I don't think I could get much of a better deal than that, it already has a 500.00 incentive off of the price from Kubota because of the demo day they had there at the dealer.
