Just curious why you want weight on the front? Most owners, including me, find that the back end is where the weight is needed.

The front can get pretty light with some of the 3 point attachments. With my L1500, I can get the front wheels off the ground with the dirt scoop or the boom and I suspect that they'll come up with the disk I have for it as well. Granted, I'm on the smaller end of the spectrum, but still.

Going to be running a disk to redo my field. Also thinking about making a "ripper" pretty much just the tines off a box blade with no box just to help remove roots and all from overgrown areas on the edges of my feilds.

OK, got it. How much weight do you think you will need?

Grizzy3901, are you going to be doing this with the FEL off or just the bucket off. The FEL frame without the bucket adds a lot of weight to the front end by itself.
