water pump seepage

He guys, i was replacing the radiator hoses and happen to notice a little greasy seepage under the water pump, it isn't losing any noticeable fluid more of a petrol smell, im in there with the radiator pulled hoses off so i just had to ask :D

If you have the rad out you are half way to getting the pump changed. If it is weeping then it is telling you it will fail. Could be many hours or very few. If you feel any slack in the water pump bearings then I would change it for sure.

A petrol smell?

I knew I had to replace my waterpump when I could see a line of spray on the inside of the hood.
