OrangeTractorTalks now offers Vendor memberships to businesses who have products or services they'd like to advertise to Kubota equipment owners. It's a great way to support the site while also engaging more directly with lots and lots of Kubota enthusiasts from around the world!

Who needs a Vendor membership?
Any individual or business who wants to advertise and sell their products or services on OrangeTractorTalks. If you are a private individual listing your private property for sale in our classifieds (eg. your personal Kubota tractor and related parts or equipment), a Vendor membership is not required - post away for free!

How do Vendor memberships Work?
There are a few rules:

1/ Vendors need to make the thread advertising their product or service within our Buy, Sell & Trade classified forums. If you accidently make those threads elsewhere, they will be moved to Buy, Sell & Trade by site moderators.

2/ To help visitors see your Vendor thread, moderators will "sticky" it to the top of the page to improve visibility and surely catch the eye of any interested viewer.

3/ Limit one commercial thread per Vendor but feel free to update it as often as you'd like (the title, the contents, pictures and so on) as you make new products available or have seasonal promotions. Answer questions posted on your Vendor thread for public viewing or private message visitors directly.

4/ Feel free to engage with visitors elsewhere on the site in other forums (eg. Repair & Maintenance, Tires & Wheels), directing them to your Vendor thread or private messaging where appropriate. Use good judgement and don't spam.

5/ Vendor memberships renew automatically every month. Cancel anytime through your PayPal account and at the end of your month, your Vendor membership will expire and your Vendor thread will be taken down.

How do I get started?
You can become a Vendor member in 15 minutes or less by following these four quick steps:

Step 1 - Create an Account: If you do not yet have an OrangeTractorTalks account, you will need to register to create one. If you already have an account, skip to step 2.

Step 2 - Sign Up for Vendor Membership: If you are registering a new account, during the registration process you'll be taken to the Get Upgraded! membership selection page. If you already have an account, just navigate directly to the Get Upgraded! membership selection page. Choose Vendor membership to upgrade your account and setup recurring monthly billing through PayPal.

Step 3 - Create your Vendor Thread Advertising your Business and Products: Navigate to the Buy, Sell & Trade classified forums and click the orange "Post thread" button in the top right. Alternatively, click here to jump straight to creating a new Vendor post. This is your space to advertise your business, product and services. Feel free to give it an interesting title, maybe some pictures and links to your site or details on how to contact you. Visitors will probably leave questions here so you'll want to check back periodically to engage with the OrangeTractorTalks community.

Step 4 - Wait for your Vendor Thread to be Stickied (or Bug Moderators About It): Once you've created your Vendor thread, the last step is to get it "stickied" to the top of the page to improve visibility. You can either wait for a site moderator to notice your Vendor thread and sticky it (couple of hours), or you can ping them directly by creating a private message to North Idaho Wolfman, 85Hokie, whitetiger and Mr. K.
