Valve core size

Anyone know the core size for 16.9x 28 rear tires?
I need to replace the core on the valve stems on my M.
I don't want to pull the old one till I have a replacement.

Replaced one on my rear L3300 couple weeks back.
Asked at the auto store parts counter if they were all the same
and was told "As far as I know they are".
Bought a 4 pack of cores https://www.autozone.com/tire-repai...tring=search&isIgnoreVehicle=false&model=true
And it worked, no more leaking ballast.

As far as I have seen there are only 2 sizes what you would call standard which is about .302-5 OD and 32tpi and the larger size which is primarily used one heavy equipment.

I prefer not to cheap out on valve cores so I usually buy them from a tire repair vender like Tech or or someone like that.

I was putting my chains on this week and aired down my rears to install them. When I aired back up I detected a slight stream of air coming out of the stem after I put the core back in. It seemed to stop when I put the cap on and I checked my tire next day and it held air. Im thinking a new valve core may be in order as well. I have had them corrode in the past but the leaking one “looked” good. Tomorrow I’ll pick up some new cores.
