Hey everybody, I'm looking at buying a used Value leader brand TL125 72 inch rotary tiller from a guy on Craigslist. Just wondering if anyone on here has any experience with this brand of tiller and what are the pros and cons of it. I appreciate any feedback. Oh and the asking price is $800 and it appears to be in new condition. The newer model of this same tiller which is now called the value leader IGN180 is priced new at $1650. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks

What are you going to use it for and how often? I'm pulling a 67" Caroni with an L4740. Breaking old pasture is slow going, Caroni tills 8". That's with no rocks and good soil. I would use a sub soiler to rip it first with your set up.

I'd be using it for my garden mainly with my L3901 but may do a few other garden plots for friends and family members here and there. Mostly tilling existing gardens though.

So I ended up deciding against getting the value leader brand tiller that I found used on Craigslist for $800. I did manage to find a nice looking used landpride RTA2562 tiller that's in decent shape for $250 more than the used value leader. Going to go pick it up this afternoon

Better choice and still a good price. It would be 1800-2000 here. Yes, used price. I ended up buying a new Caroni from the East Coast. Shipped here it was still cheaper than buying local and having to go get it. Local company wouldn't deal.
