The manual states that I need either of the following combinations for R1 tires (8.3-16 and 13.6-24) or (7.2-16 and 12.4-24). I have been told to order through sales and not parts to utilize Whole Goods. But, the dealership informed me that it's discontinued so can't use Whole Goods for my L3710. How can I find out if I can order new tires via Whole Goods from a dealer?

Other than the lugs lining up, do I need to consider offset rims? Could I use tires from a L3901, for example?

I wouldn't mind finding used but not a lot out there right now. Thanks

Your dealer already told you whole goods availabilty for the L3310 is discontinued.

For 7.2-16/12.4-24 combo:

You need two rear center sections (35080-27660 @ $253 ea) and two rear rims (70000-00053 @ $230 ea) for the rear
You need two front wheels (70000-00028 @ $138 ea) for the front.

If you want to go 8.3-16/13.6-24 everything is the same except the rear rims. They are part number 35070-27850 @ $450 ea.

Messicks shows all of that available. at the prices shown above

After you get centers, rims, and wheels you go tire shopping.

I have already looked up part numbers. I just find it hard to believe that there's only 1 rim that can work for the L3710 for Ag tires and that it would take $3,500 to get into them.

I'm new to tractors, but drive a 2017 F250. If I look up factory rims I get a part number and if I wanted, I could replace them with thousands of other aftermarket rims. How could there not be 1 other rim out there (perhaps the one that fits the L3901 could be interchangeable). The rims with turfs are not an option per parts catalog, but work fine. Yes, the ratio from rear to front is 1.5185, which is dead on with the other sets recommended.

Your tractor was not produced in the millions like your truck and the aftermarket demand for L3710 rims is nil.

If you look up the L3901 pieces you will find thd same part numbers and prices with the exception of the one item that escapes ne right now. And even then you will be limited to 11.4s on the rear.

I get about 1500 for 12.4 centers, rims, and wheels less tires. I find that surprisingly low.

When you put it like that, it makes a lot more sense. Thanks for taking the time to help me understand.
