transmission filter

Hello Guys.........I have got a b2401dt.........it has the manual transmisson set-up. I really like this tractor and am ready to do the 400 hour maintenance on it. The tractor uses a filter on the transmission that also filters for the hydraulic system. Does anyone have a cross reference for that filter. Kubota wants $55.00 for that filter. Seems pretty steep to me. I am trying to save a buck if there is another filter available. If not I guess I will bite the bullet and get it from Kubota. Thought I would check here first and get any imput from you guys. Thanx for any help. B..........

Bite the bullet and get the Kubota filter from your Kubota dealer.

Saving $10 or $20 every 400 hours for a piece of equipment worth $30K+ doesn’t make sense to me.

Hey Guys, I should have read some of the threads before I made the inquiry. It does make sense to use the Kubota filters. That is what I will be purchasing. Thanx for the replies, and this is a great forum.
