If pins are short you could get longer pins?
I use
this one from Titan, (CAT I), cheap, has worked well. It is compatible with
QH10 when it is dropped straight down into the QH. If you have moved your hook from standard position it may not work, or need some modification.
I have moved my 20' 7,000 pound (1,800 empty) trailer and 22' 15,000 pound trailer (3,500 empty) with no problems the last few years using it. I use the rear bracket more often than the bucket, it's just easier and more stable.
You could also weld a receiver to bucket for quick moves.
