It landed yesterday. I went over it and noticed a few things that make me shake my head as it had a very detailed inspection when traded. The hyd oil filter was loose. How they did not notice this I don't know. It left oil on there trailer when they delivered it. I was lifting a log with it when it conked out. No fuel, tank was full. Found that a 15a fuse had blown. Could be because I was playing with all the controls as in lights, but I don't know. Wonder if this means that the fuel pump is on its way out. The front ball joint covers have had it. Other then the big crack in the front engine side covers which they are going to send up, its all good.. I have already gotten used the stopping in reverse.

Just wondering if anybody knows that that little lever on the underside of the transaxle does. Its on the Left at the bottom.

Also there is an extra slot on the Left hand side rear fender that has no lever and is not marked. Is there an option to fit a lever for a valve or something? Is this for the bx24? Would love to fit a handle and valve for a adjustable top link and make it look factory.

I seem to be different than most. I don't like a fel. I have been using tractors for over 48 years. I would rather have a scoop on the back for moving dirt and compost. A scoop will also dig. A fel won't. A scoop won't tip you over like a fel used improperly. Without the fel you don't need 4wd. This eliminates 2 expensive options that the money can be used for other things.

If you are afraid of putting cleat marks in your lawn get a cheap lawnmower for when it is wet. I don't care if you have 50 hp, with turf tires I consider it a big lawnmower. A tractor has ag tires.

20 hp should do fine for what you need. If you can get bigger cheap, I would.
You can work on your lawn if you: use two wheel drive, stay off when lawn is wet, turn widely and slowly. You don't want turf tires they gut the tractors capability. I have 4 Kubotas over the last 33 years. in my opinion, the R4 tires are the best option. Ag tires have better traction but pack with mud and cut the ground. R4's have slightly less traction but self heal the ground on the next pass. i have heavy clay soils and have never had the R4's pack

I have a L3400 2WD with a FEL and with a rear counter weight can boil dirt out of the front bucket. In most cases with most operators, they will not have any weight on the front axle when digging with a FEL. It's the rear where the power happens! Just have to give it enough weight for it to do its job.
