I received a nice tractor seat from a Kubota repairman, but took it back to him because the pins where it fits do not come out. They are welded on (first picture). He told me to take the plastic cover off of the seat and then take the brackets off of the seat. Put the brackets (second picture) on where the pins do't come off, then attach the seat. The problem is that the pins go through the plastic (see last pic with screwdriver pointing to holes in plastic cover). So if I attach the brackets and then the seat there is no way to put the plastic cover on. Any ideas?

You only need to pull one bracket, you leave the plastic cover hanging down tighten the second bracket then install the seat bottom. ;)
It would be the same way when you take the old seat off.
