Hello fellow orange tractor owners.
I have a bx1500 with a bagger attachment. The cat's meow. Only inconvenience is that I have a number of small implements that i occasionally would like to tow with the pin hitch: spreader, aerator, small cart. I can't because the bagger is in the way and the tongues of the implements aren't long enough. I've fabricated an extension for the aerator which works great but was wondering if anyone has come up with a solution that would modify the plate on the tractor to extend it out around 18" so I can avoid having to modify these light but handy pull behinds in order to hook them up. The load is very light.
Looking for ideas.

I get that. My question was more to the details of fabrication. Use angle iron, flat bar? Does it need side support somehow? Should I just use 18" half inch plate, same width as original, make same hole pattern and then bolt original to it? Wondering if anyone has done something like I need and how they did it.
Thanks again.

I welded a 2" receiver tube on the back of my chipper so I can tow a little dump wagon for chips using a ball hitch mount
