Can anyone provide the torque values for installing fuel injector assembly in M7500DT V4000A engine? They mount with two (2) 8mm studs. Also any other torque specs related to the fuel injectors
Is that recommendation 18-20 N.m. or 18-20 ft lbs? I have to think the torque spec is fairly critical to get proper crush on the copper washer without going overboard. Maybe I'm overthinking this, but I don't want to screw it up!!! Thanks!Welcome to the forum
Odd that there's not that info. in the tractor WSM, I had a look too. Perhaps someone has a standalone V4000 manual (V4000-B manual is Kubota code no. 07909-70103) or product service bulletin with that info... .
Subject to others' better info or ideas, because the stud is into cast iron (?) I'd use the torque Kubota references for the lowest grade M8 bolt - 18-20 N.m. and check for leakage.
Thank you for publishing this page. I didn't have it.Here is page 18 from the V4000 WSM: Nozzle holder, M8 x 1.25, 17.4 to 20.3 ft-lbs
