Just got a good used L3400 with only 250 hours, and I'd like to install a top and tilt system with three valves so that I can use with my Gannon scraper (hydraulic rippers). This scraper came off my Ford 1910 which I'm selling. The L3400 is a DT model with the 463 loader.
My local dealer wants about $1700 for an installed Gearmore TNT system, and I can't seem to find this kind of new equipment to purchase as a kit outright. The dealer says the shop will charge for 4-1/2 hours labor, which seems too high to me. I figure I should be able to do the installation myself.
Advice as to where to buy a TNT kit, and how to install? Plumbing connection to the hydraulics of the L3400 are not obvious -- at least to me.
