Tiller Size for L3901?

What do people run on their L3901? What do you guys suggest max size? I was going to go with 70-72" but in a different thread someone made me question maybe that is to large?

You should have no problem at all. Just take it easy. What type of ground do you have and what are you tilling under. I have used a 8 foot one on a 32 HP tractor in loam and sand soil with no problems. Just adjust you ground speed. The one I have now is a 62 inch and it works very well but tall weed should be brushhogged off or they wrap around the tine shaft

I have a 66" on a L3200. No problem. Only thing is it sticks out on both sides of the tractor. Not a problem if you are mindful of it. Although gardening would be easier if I could just "run the row" with my wheel width and tiller followed directly behind.
