How do tiller owners park their tillers and keep the PTO open end off the ground?

Telescope the pto shaft as short as it will go then loop one of the safety chains up around the toplink pin to hold the shaft up in the air.

The tiller I owned and sold years ago had a 'kickstand' on it that held it up when off the tractor. Used a tarp strap on the upper part of the 3 point tiller hitch to retain the PTO shaft.

I remove the tractor half and store indoors, on a shelf. Not only does it keep it clean, if someone 'borrows' it, I can inform local farmshops to call cops if someone needs to buy 1/2 a PTO shaft !
Guy 3 counties over 'lost' his portable bandsawmill one long weekend. Mine no longer sits on wheels.

God I hate thieves !!! If you can set it in a garage just use a bungee cord to hold it up and if you have a HF around a 4 wheel dolly works really well to move it around
